Super star 3 is a Malayalam music reality show. It is a talent show which was aired in 2010 on Amrita TV. It was the third season of the reality serial which was organised by Amrita TV. It was based on the music talent in children. The series was the kind of its kind in Malayalam language which aimed in finding out the singing talents in pre-teen children.

The first season was held in 2007 and was a big hit. The show used to air at 8 PM from Monday to Thursday on the channel, Amrita TV. The age group to participate in the show was 10-14 years.

The auditions of the serial were done across the various locations in Kerala and also the outskirts from 25 February 2010 to 4 March 2010.

The serial was hurled with intense trials done and selecting a few contestants from hundreds of applications. The show ran for around six months in which it showed various competitions kept to enhance the singing skills of the children.
