Warrior (born James Brian Hellwig;[2] June 16, 1959[source?] – April 8, 2014) was an Americanprofessional wrestler.

Hellwig legally changed his name to Warrior in 2002. He was the biggest star of the 1990s.[source?] His career had a boost when he defeated Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI, and it was also Hulk Hogan's first Wrestlemania loss, firstly before defeated by The Rock at WrestleMania X8.

Warrior died of a heart attack on the afternoon of April 8, 2014 at 54 years old,[3] 3 days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame[4] and less than a day after cutting a promo on Raw.[5]

Less than 24 hours before he died, Warrior gave a speech to the fans and wrestlers, past and present, in his Ultimate Warrior character.
